1. What is the start time and dismissal time on a regular day?

Our classes start at 8:00am, dismissal times for car riders are PK, Kindergarten, 1st, 2nd, and 3rd graders will let out at 3:10pm. Bus riders will load at 3:20pm.

2. What time is my child considered tardy for school?

All children that are not in the school building at 8:00am, are tardy.

3. What time will my child be absent, if he is late for school?

All students who are late for school after 10:00am are counted absent, unless they have a Doctor's note.

4. What information do I bring to register my child at your school?

Birth Certificate
Social Security Card
Shot Records
Drivers License
Proof of Residence

5. What does a visitor need to do when visiting a class?

All visitors must check into the office and receive a visitor's tag before going to the classroom.

6. Can I pass out party invitations at school?

The handbook states that no party invitations are to be passed out at school. Parents can send cupcakes for snack time only, no birthdays are celebrated at school.

7. When are teacher's conference times?

PreKindergarten: 11:30-12:30
Kindergarten: 12:25-1:25
First grade: 1:30-2:30
Second grade: 9:00-10:00
Third grade: 10:05-11:05

8. When do you register for Kindergarten?

Kindergarten registers during the first two weeks of May.

9. When do you register for PreK?

We start enrolling for PreK during the month of July.

10. What do I need if my child is a car rider?

Parents will need to have a car rider sign with their child's name on it. If you do not have this sign you will have to come to the office to check them out. You can pick these car rider signs up in the office.

1. What do I need to enroll my child in school?

Birth certificate

2. When is Kindergarten registration?

Kindergarten registration for the new school year begins in May and goes throughout the summer.

3. When is Pre-Kindergarten registration?

Pre-K registration begins in July for the new school year.

4. Do you have a Pre-K program?

Our Pre-K program is a half day program and you must meet the qualifications.

5. Do I need to withdraw my child if I move to another district?

Yes, you will need to sign the withdrawl page and take it with you to the new school.

6. How do I get involved in PTO?

PTO meets the second Tuesday of every month. Membership is $3.00 per person.

7. Do I need to let the school know if we are going on a vacation?

All vacation requests need to be in writing to Mrs. McCoy, Principal for approval.

8. Can I check out my child early?

Students should only be checked early due to a doctor's appointment. All students must be signed out in the office.

9. How do I check or put money on my child's account in the cafeteria?

You can call the cafeteria to find out the amount in your child's account. You can send cash or check with your child to put money on the account.
